Robert G. Lynn, DMD
Dr. Robert Lynn graduated from Boston College with a Master of Science in Finance with a premedical concentration. While at BC, he was the co-founder of the Dental society. Dr. Lynn then received his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (D.M.D.) from Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine. He then completed a residency in General Practice Dentistry at Nassau University Medical Center prior to starting his Oral Surgery training. Dr. Lynn was the first Oral Surgery non-categorical resident at Long Island Jewish Medical Center. He then got into the coveted 4-year program at Northwell Health, winning the title of Resident of the Year 3 times while at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, Stony Brook University Hospital and the Northport VA. During his training, he rotated through to North Shore Hospital for general surgery, plastic surgery, and otolaryngology.
Dr. Lynn is a Board Eligible Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. Dr. Robert Gary Lynn practices full scope Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in our Port Jefferson and Selden offices. Dr. Lynn treats both in-office and hospital patients for a broad scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is on staff at Mather Hospital and St. Charles Hospital.
Dr. Lynn grew up in Glen Head, NY and currently resides in Mt. Sinai, NY with his dog, Studley. When not at the office he enjoys reading, playing rugby, golf, video games and spending time hiking with his friends.
Dr. Lynn is certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Advance Trauma Life Support (ATLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
He loves his job and it shows, and is always working Saturdays.
