Dr. Robert Bacigalupo, born and raised on Long Island, graduated Summa Cum Laude from Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine. He was honored with the distinction of being ranked first in his class. Following dental school, Dr. Bacigalupo completed his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Long Island Jewish Medical Center/Northwell Health, where he served as Chief Resident at LIJ Medical Center, Stony Brook University Hospital and the Northport VA Medical Center.

Dr. Bacigalupo joined PML Oral and Implant Surgery after completing his residency in 2017. He has trained extensively in the specialty of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, including dentoalveolar surgery, pathology, maxillofacial trauma, orthognathic surgery, temporomandibular joint disorders, dental implants and facial reconstruction. During residency, he employed the most recent advances in digital technology for virtual treatment planning and computer guided surgery.

Dr. Bacigalupo is Board Certified and holds hospital privileges at North Shore University Hospital, Long Island Jewish Medical Center and Plainview Hospital. He is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Dental Association, New York State Dental Association and Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society.

Outside of Oral Surgery, Dr. Bacigalupo enjoys spending time with his family and hopes to continue his volunteer experiences in the dental and surgical field. He met his wife, Kara, while attending Villanova University and they have two beautiful daughters together.
