Mario J. Capuano, DDS
Dr. Capuano graduated from Hofstra University with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S) at New York University College of Dentistry. While at NYU, he was named to the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society, received the Dean’s Fellowship Research Award, and received the Dean’s Academic Merit Scholarship.
Dr. Capuano completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency at Nassau County Medical Center. Dr. Capuano is a Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon and recently completed his re-certification. Dr. Capuano practices full scope Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
Dr. Capuano is a member of the Milton Turk Cleft Palate Center at St. Charles Hospital. He was also a past president of the Northern Brookhaven Dental Society and a past president of the Medical Staff at St. Charles Hospital.
Dr. Capuano is the Chief of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at both St. Charles Hospital and at John T. Mather Memorial Hospital.
Dr. Capuano is certified in Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Advance Trauma Life Support (ATLS). He is also a certified CPR instructor.
Dr. Capuano resides in Nissequogue, NY. In his free time, he enjoys weight lifting, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
