Daniel H. Fleischman, DDS

Dr. Daniel Fleischman completed his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Long Island Jewish Medical Center/Northwell Health. During his residency he served as Chief Resident at Long Island Jewish Medical Center/Northwell Health, Stony Brook University Hospital, and the Northport VA Medical Center. He is a graduate of Columbia University – College of Dental Medicine and Emory University.

Dr. Fleischman’s practice encompasses all aspects of oral and maxillofacial surgery, including dentoalveolar surgery, dental implant placement, bone grafting, maxillofacial trauma and orthognathic/corrective jaw surgery, reconstructive surgery. He is thoroughly trained in current techniques for general anesthesia and intravenous sedation. His practice utilizes computer guided virtual surgical planning and custom surgical guides for the correction of dentofacial deformities, jaw defects, and the placement of dental implants.

Dr. Fleischman is board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He holds hospital privileges at Northwell Health’s Long Island Jewish Medical Center, North Shore University Hospital and Plainview Hospital. He holds active certification in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support. In addition, he maintains membership in the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, New York State Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Dental Association, and Nassau County Dental Society.

Dr. Fleischman was born and raised on Long Island. In his free time, he likes to spend time with his wife, Mackenzie, and their adorable children, Teddy, Alexis and Noah. Dr. Fleischman loves to travel and use his ability to speak Spanish. He is also an avid sports fan and an ardent Yankees and Knicks fan.
