Dr. Jessica Fayans is an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon with a focus on complex office-based procedures including wisdom teeth, dental implant surgery, advanced bone grafting, management of impacted canines for orthodontic patients, and apicoectomies. Dr. Fayans provides her patients with a full range of oral and maxillofacial surgery services including Intravenous Sedation for difficult procedures or fearful patients.

A native of Long Island, Dr. Fayans was raised in Oceanside and at a young age started volunteering in Emergency Rooms in underserved areas of NYC. She saw a variety of cases, from trauma to the face, cleft palate repair, as well as dentoalveolar surgery. Dr. Fayans attended Dental School at The University of Pennsylvania where she was awarded the Dean’s Scholarship and graduated from the prestigious Clinical Honors Program. She volunteered in Jerusalem, Israel in the Oral Surgery Department of Hadassah Hospital. She went on to complete her Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency Program at Brookdale University
Hospital and Medical Center, where she served as Chief Resident.

Dr. Fayans grew up as a competitive opera singer specializing in Italian Arias. She was the captain of her cheerleading team in high school and a member of the cheerleading team in college at Lehigh University in Pennsylvania. Dr. Fayans was also a competitive kayaker. She attended the Empire State Games and was selected for Nationals. During the summer, you can still find Dr. Fayans out on the water, kayaking or sailing with her husband and children. She is also a world-wide traveler, who is always looking for new ways to explore and broaden her horizons.

Throughout Dr. Fayans’ life she has always demonstrated her compassionate nature and commitment to her patients. This has enhanced her ability to provide expedited care in all areas of oral surgery with enthusiasm, high energy and pleasant bed-side manner.
